They are also excellent to go with an aperitif.

The most popular variety, it is used in everyday and traditional cooking. They should be desalted before use by washing them with running water. All recipes where capers are used as an ingredient – appetizers, side dishes, pizzas, sauces, meat or fish dishes – usually feature medium-sized ones.
